Wildpath is a French symphonic metal band that formed in 2001 in Paris. The group was founded by Alexis Garsault and Olivier Caron. They released the demos Gates of Fantasy (2004) and Necromancer (2005) before signing with the label Stay Gold for their debut album, Nyx Secrets (2006). Their second studio album, Non Omnis Moriar, was released (2009). The music of the ensemble is characterized by complex compositions and orchestral dominance, often featuring folkloric and electronic elements. Their subsequent recordings include the albums Underneath (2011) and Disclosure (2015). They also produced an acoustic live recording titled Still - Acoustic Live Experience (2016). The band released music videos for the songs “Buried Moon” (2012) and “Petrichor” (2014).
