Rickoss, whose real name is Ricky Lusevakio, was born on August 11, 1994 in Kinshasa and grew up in the suburbs of Paris in the 92. He is immersed in Congolese Rumba, French Rap, and Pop, and is the product of these three cultures. Melody and poetry are what make up his universe. Cosmopolitan, he offers us an art that we immediately feel is very personal. Though not very talkative about his life and rather reserved or even mysterious by nature, he confides that his entire story can be found in his songs, and that to know him, all we have to do is listen. He invites us, the listeners, to lend an ear, listen, and discover his story, which perhaps may resemble our own!
