Isenordal, a post-black metal band from Seattle, Washington, was founded in 2013 by cellist Jeff King and guitarist Kerry Hall. The duo aimed to blend diverse musical styles, drawing influence from Bathory. Following the 2014 demo Imbolc MMXIV, the group solidified a lineup for the debut album Shores of Mourning, released in 2017 via Eternal Warfare Records. That same year, the band released the demo Lughnasadh MMXVII. In 2018, Isenordal issued the neofolk-influenced album Spectral Embrace and a split EP with Void Omnia. The band signed with Prophecy Productions in 2019, leading to reissues of their debut and the split EP. Following several singles released between 2021 and 2024, the group released their third album, Requiem for EirĂȘnĂȘ, in 2024.
