Dylan Golden Aycock

Dylan Golden Aycock, born October 16, 1985, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an American Primitive guitarist and experimental musician. He began making music as a turntablist in 2004 before moving to drums, and in 2011 transitioned to solo acoustic guitar. He released his debut album, Rise and Shine, in 2013 on Scissor Tail Editions, a record label he founded in 2010. In 2016, NPR named his album Church of Level Track one of the top solo guitar records of the year, and Uncut Magazine highlighted the release for its chamber-folk compositions. Aycock also compiled a tribute album for Bruce Langhorne, organized tribute concerts with artists including Steve Gunn, and collaborated with Mark Kuykendall and members of Mar.
