Oktor, a Polish funeral doom band, was formed in 2003 by brothers Jan and Jerzy Rajkow-Krzywick from April Ethereal. The band initially included Piotr Kucharek as an additional vocalist. Oktor's first release was the EP EP in 2004, followed by the split album Nenia/Oneiric Dirges in Mono/EP with Quercus and The River in 2005, both released through Foreshadow Productions. In 2007, Oktor compiled their earlier works into All Gone in Moments, adding two new tracks, including a cover of a Skepticism song the band had recorded for the tribute album Entering the Levitation - A Tribute to Skepticism (2007). Their debut full-length album, Another Dimension of Pain, was released in 2014 via Solitude Productions, marking a significant breakthrough that garnered them international recognition.
