Monica Jo Mancini is an American jazz singer. Born on May 4, 1952 in Northridge, California, she began her career as a member of the Henry Mancini Chorus, performing alongside her father, composer Henry Mancini. She released her debut album, Monica Mancini, in 1998. She subsequently published Dreams of Johnny Mercer in 2000 under the label Concord Records, followed by the cover album Cinema Paradiso in 2002. She collaborated with the Ultimate Mancini Orchestra on the album Ultimate Mancini (2004), which earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2005. Her fifth album, I've Loved These Days (2010), featured classics such as “God Only Knows” and “Ballad of the Sad Young Men”. Throughout her career, she also contributed to various film soundtracks and collaborated with notable artists including Placido Domingo, Quincy Jones, and Michael Jackson.
