David Fonseca, born on June 14, 1973, in Marrazes, Leiria, is a Portuguese musician and singer-songwriter. He began his career as a photographer before transitioning to music. His musical journey started with the band Silence 4, whose debut album Silence Becomes It (1998) sold 250,000 copies and achieved six platinum records. In 2003, he launched his solo career with the album Sing Me Something New, featuring the single "Someone That Cannot Love". He also joined the Humanos tribute project in 2004, which scored a quintuple platinum with their eponymous album. His solo album, Our Hearts Will Beat As One (2005), reached Number 1 on the National Sales Chart and was certified Gold in its first week. He has released several solo albums, including Radio Gemini (2018) and Living Room Bohemian Apocalypse (2022).
