Caroline Kaye Walters was an English singer, songwriter, and artist born in 1957. Known professionally as Caroline K, she reached wider visibility as a founding member of the experimental group Nocturnal Emissions. In 1980, she co-founded the label Sterile Records in London. Walters performed on the ensemble Class War single "Better Dead Than Wed!" (1986). Her recording career included the debut solo studio recording Now Wait for Last Year (1987) which was released through the label Earthly Delights. She continued to collaborate with Nocturnal Emissions and produced the studio recordings Tissue of Lies (1980) and Songs of Love and Revolution (1985). Walters died of leukemia complications on July 12, 2008, in Pisa, Italy. Her discography included the posthumous single "Don't Believe It's Over" (2019) and the single "Mirrorball" (2021).
