Jonathan Pierre Gustaf Fagerlund, known as Jonathan Fagerlund, was born on January 8, 1991, in Jönköping, Sweden. He began his career at age 13 by participating in the television series Super Troupers on TV4. In 2005, he joined Streetwize, an international boy band project, touring extensively before leaving to pursue a solo career. Fagerlund released his debut album, Flying, in 2008 under Dreamline Music, featuring collaborations with Samuel Waermö and Andreas Carlsson. His first single, "Angeline", received heavy airplay but did not chart. The follow-up single, "Playing Me", reached number 4 on the Swedish Singles Chart for two consecutive weeks in March 2008. In 2009, he participated in Melodifestivalen with "Welcome to My Life" and released his second album, Welcome to My World. The latter featured a collaboration with Alice Svensson on the song "Save Our Yesterdays". In the 2010s, Fagerlund began working as a fitness instructor in Stockholm.
