Serena Maneesh is an alternative rock band based in Oslo, led by founder and multi-instrumentalist Emil Nikolaisen. The band's early releases included the EP Fixxations in 2002 and Zurück (Retrospectives 1999-2003) in 2005. Their debut album, Serena Maneesh, was released on HoneyMilk Records in 2005, followed by an international edition through Playlouder in 2006. The band supported notable acts such as Oasis and Nine Inch Nails during their tours. Their second studio album, S-M 2: Abyss in B Minor, was released on the British independent label 4AD in March 2010. Following extensive touring, the band went on hiatus later that year.
