Cajun Dance Party

Cajun Dance Party was a five-piece band based in London, England, formed by Robbie Stern, Max Bloom, Daniel Blumberg, Will Vignoles, and Vicky Freund. The group initially came together to participate in their school's battle of the bands at University College School. Their first four songs, "The Next Untouchable", "Colourful Life", "Amylase", and "Buttercups", were recorded as demos and released on Myspace. The band's debut single, "The Next Untouchable", was released in 2007. Their first album, The Colourful Life, was released in 2008 and featured singles such as "Colourful Life" and "Amylase". The album received a positive review from The Guardian. The band performed at numerous festivals including Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury, and Oxegen. In 2009, Blumberg and Bloom left to form Yuck, while other members pursued university studies. Freund later joined TML.
