Aeverium, a German metal group from Viersen, was formed in 2013 by Marcel "Chubby" Römer on vocals, Michael Karius on guitar, and Andreas "Anti" Delvos on keyboards. The band's initial lineup also included Aeva Maurelle on vocals, Lars Dannenberg on bass, and Klaus Radtke on drums. Their debut live performance occurred at the Süchteln brennt festival in January 2014. Later that year, they released their first EP, The Harvest, produced by Sander Gommans and Amanda Somerville. Aeverium signed with Out of Line Records in 2014, leading to the release of their debut album, Break Out, in 2015. The band toured extensively, including performances at Wacken Open Air in 2017 and supporting Kamelot on the Haven Europe Tour Part III in 2016. In 2018, Aeva Maurelle left the group and was replaced by Vanessa Katakalos.
