Dream City Film Club was an English rock band from North London, founded in July 1995. The group consisted of Michael J. Sheehy on vocals, guitars, and keyboards; Andrew Park on bass guitar, keyboards, and guitars; Laurence Ash on drums and percussion; and Alex Vald on guitar until 1997. Their debut single "Crawl" was released in 1996 for the underground fanzine The Organ. They signed with Beggar's Banquet and recorded their eponymous debut album, which was released in 1997. Following Vald's departure, the band continued as a trio and released their second and final album, In The Cold Light Of Morning, in 1999. The group disbanded later that year.
