Apples in Space, a Berlin-based alternative/folk rock band, was formed in 2010 by songwriter Julie Mehlum and guitarist Phil Haussmann after meeting at a Berlin party. They released the 2013 EP The Never Read Letter, followed by the 2015 Apples in Space, produced by Richard Pappik, featuring guest musicians Julian Lembke, Patrick Reising, Tobias Unterberg and Sven Regener. In 2016, the band released The Shame Song on Nick & Nora Records and the single "All My Things". The band performed as opening acts for artists such as Element of Crime and Thees Uhlmann.
