Zelle is a Filipino alternative pop and rock ensemble from Manila established in 2007. The group consists of the musicians Jeazell Grutas, Archie Salvador, Chester Ventura, Jing Gonzales, and John Abiathar de Leon. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by alternative rock and pop rock. The ensemble was founded by the vocalist Grutas. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Search for Warmth (2007) released on the label Sony BMG. Zelle achieved professional recognition for receiving the Favorite Bandarito Performance award at the Myx Music Awards in 2008. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the song “Upuan” (2010) recorded in collaboration with the musician Gloc-9. The song achieved professional recognition for receiving five awards including Song of the Year at the Awit Awards. The group became inactive in late 2011 but resumed activity in 2016. Their discography included the eponymous studio recording Zelle (2016) and the studio recording Zelle 2 (2020). Zelle achieved professional recognition for the single “Kaya Kong Mabuhay” (2020).
