Soner Duman, known professionally as Caput, was born on April 19, 1983, in Iserlohn, Germany, and is a rapper. He started his career with break dancing and rapping at a young age. After completing his Realschulabschluss and hotel industry training, Duman formed the rap group Eye 4 Eye and produced music in a home studio. In 2003, he sent a demo tape to Optik Records, securing a contract with label founder Kool Savas. His first release was the EP Sieben in 2004, followed by the mixtape Die Caputte Sicht in 2005 and his debut solo album Caputalismus in 2008. Notable releases include "Ich geb n’ Fuck", a response to Eko Fresh's track "Die Abrechnung", and the album Uncaputbar (2012). His fourth solo album, Intensiv – Mit mir oder gegen mich, reached number 99 on the German Album Charts in August 2015.
