Trepalium, a death metal band from Boismé, France, formed in 2001. Their debut full-length album, Through the Absurd, was released in 2004 under Holy Records. Trepalium gained traction with their second album, Alchemik Clockwork of Disorder (2006), which allowed them to participate in Hellfest. The band's third album, XIII, was released in 2009 under Season of Mist, followed by H.N.P. in 2012. These albums formed a trilogy centered around the character XIII. In 2020, the band released the album From the Ground. The band announced their separation in 2024.
