Jonas Berg is an established and experiences musician on the international scene: while collaborating with a wide range of artists he is also working with his own projects: “Made In Wood” with Bastian Sjelberg, and a solo project under his own name.
While being a broadminded and versatile collaborator his own music often takes direction to invite feelings of simplicity, intimacy and spontaneity, often exploring the sounds of the instruments he is playing.
His current solo project started in July 2022 resulting ten pieces of music at the Danish Music Conservatory in Esbjerg (where he also teaches). The first piece “Amerika” was released October 21st, 2022. Meanwhile Made In Wood have been releasing their original music continually since 2020.
“I want to express both music and life from the heart, constantly checking in that this is what is happening”.
