Narciso Parigi, born on November 29, 1927, in Campi Bisenzio, Italy, was an Italian singer and actor. He started his career at Radio Firenze in 1944, performing traditional stornelli and stornellate. In 1955, he participated in the Festival di Sanremo with "Incantatella" alongside Claudio Villa. He also starred in films like Terra straniera in 1952 and composed "Canzone viola", the anthem for the Fiorentina football club in 1956. He won the 1960 International Festival of Florence with "Rondini fiorentine" alongside Luciano Rondinella. He received Florence's Fiorino d'Oro in 2017. In 2018, he announced the collaborative recording project Italia, America e ritorno with singer Lorenzo Andreaggi, which was released posthumously in late 2020. In 2019, he received the Levriero Città di Campi Award, and a room at the Teatrodante Carlo Monni was named in his honor. He died on January 25, 2020, at the age of 92.
