André Herzberg, born December 28, 1955 in East Berlin, is a German singer, songwriter, and actor. He began violin lessons in 1961. His early career featured the song “Bootsfahrt” (1981) with the Gaukler Rock Band and the self-titled debut solo album André Herzberg (1991). He released the solo album Tohuwabohu (1994) and the compilation album Herzberg 91-99 Ausverkauf (1999). His subsequent solo albums include Losgelöst (2004), Das kalte Herz (2008), Was aus uns geworden ist (2018), and Von woanders her (2023). Herzberg's work as the frontman of the band Pankow produced several Number 1 hits, and their debut album Kille Kille (1983) sold 120,000 copies.
