Diary of My Misanthropy – is an atmospheric instrumental post-rock music project, founded by Vladyslav Tsarenko in 2013. The main goal of DoMM is to tell stories without words, to convey feelings and emotions using melodies and riffs, and to make the listener think about important things.
The debut EP "Behind The Ruins I See A Soul of Places", released in 2014, focuses on relationships between people and their past. It's about words that were left unspoken and people that were left behind.
The second EP "Theatre of the Absurd" is heavily inspired by dystopian novels, such as "1984" by George Orwell, "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, and "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. It's about war, propaganda, ignorance, and unkindness.
The third EP "Leviathan" introduces a heavier sound that inclines towards post-metal rather than post-rock. It's a story of the dying world, imagined by the giant Leviathan, the world-eather.
Vladyslav Tsarenko collaborates with talented musicians to create an interesting and diverse music product. Among them are: Dmitry Skakun (FX, samples), Volodymyr Sakharenko (bass), and Serhiy Dubovenko (drums).
