Thorleifs was a Swedish dance band from Norrhult established in 1962. They achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by dansband music and for their song "Gråt inga tårar" (1975). The ensemble was founded by vocalist and saxophonist Thorleif Torstensson. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Kommer hem till dig (1973). Thorleifs achieved professional recognition for releasing the studio recording Med dej vill jag leva (1992) and the studio recording En liten ängel (1997). They achieved professional recognition for recording in the German language starting with the studio recording Mit dir will ich leben (2002). Their discography included the compilation recording Guldkorn (2000) and the studio recording Sweet Kissin' in the Moonlight: Den första kyssen (2009). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for participating in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song "Sweet Kissin' in the Moonlight". Thorleifs achieved professional recognition for winning a Grammy for dance band of the year in 1998. The ensemble became inactive in 2012. Their discography included the farewell compilation recording Tack & farväl (2012). Torstensson died on January 10, 2021.
