On November 25th, 2022, singer-songwriter Lisa Gentile drops her highly anticipated fifth studio album and first ever digital release "Start Flying”. All songs are self-written, and this is her first production from her new independent label Gentileland Records. Lisa teamed up with Adam Box, producer and drummer of the CMA award winning country band the Brothers Osborne to produce 8 of the songs in his Nashville studio. Lisa completed the record at Dreamland Studios in Woodstock, NY. This beautifully orchestrated record shines with an all-star cast of players and special guests including drummer Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney), members of the Brothers Osborne and a duet with country artist Rick Huckaby.
Throughout Gentile’s 20-year career, this multi-genre singer-songwriter has written with and been produced Keith Diamond (Polygram Records, Billy Ocean, Mick Jaggar, Michael Bolton), Loris Holland (Jive Records, Mariah Carey), Adam Box (Brothers Osborne); independently released 4 records with songs receiving National Airplay and International recognition: (Becoming (2000), Three (2003) and A Very Country Compilation (2006) which received a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) for Best Country Album; performed in over 300 venues, stages and festivals throughout the US and placed music in television and film.
Lisa was born in Syracuse, NY and moved to NYC at 10. She attended HS of Performing Arts and graduated from Bard College. She’s the daughter of late Motown producer and A&R Exec Mickey Gentile and Jennifer Lambert, a former artist Decca and Tamla Records.
