Jason Rebello is a British pianist, songwriter, and record producer born as Jason Matthew Rebello on March 29, 1969, in Carshalton. He achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by jazz and for his work as a member of the ensemble of the musician Sting and the ensemble of Jeff Beck. Rebello achieved professional recognition for a career that began after he received classical training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama starting at age 19. He achieved professional recognition for emerging in the late 1980s as a jazz pianist influenced by Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner. His recording career began with the debut solo studio recording A Clearer View (1990) produced by the musician Wayne Shorter. Rebello achieved professional recognition for joining the ensemble of Sting in 1998 and recording the studio recording Brand New Day (1999). He achieved professional recognition for being a member of the ensemble of Jeff Beck between 2004 and 2010 and recording the studio recording Emotion & Commotion (2010). His discography included the studio recording Jazz Rainbow (2007) and the solo studio recording Anything But Look (2013) released on the label Lyte Records. Rebello achieved professional recognition for receiving the Album of the Year award at the British Jazz Awards for the studio recording Held (2016).
