Watkins Family Hour is an American bluegrass musical collaborative formed in 2002, led by siblings Sara Watkins and Sean Watkins. The duo began their musical journey as part of the Americana music group Nickel Creek before launching a monthly variety show at Largo nightclub in Los Angeles. Their eponymous debut album, released in 2015, featured covers and collaborations with notable musicians such as Fiona Apple, Benmont Tench, Greg Leisz, and Sebastian Steinberg. The album received generally favorable reviews, scoring 76 out of 100 on Metacritic. Following this, the group released Brother Sister in 2020, and Watkins Family Hour Vol. II in 2022.
