Clocks was an American new wave, power pop, and pop rock band from Wichita, Kansas. Active from 1982 to 1983 and reunited from 2003 to 2004, the group included Gerald Graves, Jerry Sumner, Steve Swaim, and Lance Threet, and recorded for Boulevard Records. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1982, featured the single "She Looks a Lot Like You," which reached number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 47 on the Mainstream Rock chart, while its music video received airplay on MTV. Following the band's breakup, Jerry Sumner continued performing with other projects. Clocks reunited to record a second album, The Black Box, released in 2004. In 2012, the band was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. Band member Gerald Graves died in 2016.
