Crystallion, a German power metal band, was founded in 2003 by bassist Steve Hall and drummer Martin Herzinger. The group initially gained traction with the demo EP Knights of the Apocalypse... Nemesis released in 2005. Their first full-length album, A Dark Enchanted Crystal Night, followed in December 2006 and was well-received by both fans and critics, earning an 8 out of 10 rating from Germany's Rock Hard magazine. The band's subsequent albums, including Hattin (2008) and Hundred Days (2009), further solidified their presence in the power metal scene. Crystallion released Heads or Tails in February 2021, marking their first album in eight years. Notable lineup changes also occurred over the years, with Thomas Strübler leaving in May 2019 after 15 years as lead vocalist, followed by Kristina Berchtold's departure in early 2022. The band has toured extensively across Europe, including performances in Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
