La Sobrecarga, an Argentinean musical group from Trenque Lauquen, Buenos Aires, formed in 1983. The band initially consisted of César Dominici on guitar and vocals, Guillermo Robles on bass, and Gustavo Collado on drums. They began their career under the name Igoario before changing to La Sobrecarga. In 1985, they signed with CBS and released their debut album Sentidos Congelados, which included hits like "Conexión París" and "Shock Eléctrico". The following year, they released Mentirse Y Creerse. Despite internal issues and the waning popularity of dark wave music, La Sobrecarga disbanded in 1988. Members pursued various projects, including César Dominici's solo work and Gustavo Collado's involvement with Divididos. In 2010, the band reunited and released Cenizas Del Tiempo in 2013. Horacio "Gamexane" Villafañe, a founding member, passed away in 2011.
