Plüsch is a Swiss dialect pop rock band from Interlaken formed by school friends Andreas "Ritschi" Ritschard, Roger Meier, Simon Ryf, Alexander Balajew, and Andreas Hunziker. Blending rock with jazz, funk, and soul influences, the group achieved its breakthrough with its self-titled debut album, earning the Prix Walo award. Their second album, Sidefiin (2004), topped the Swiss charts and helped expand their audience into Germany. Known for hits including "Heimweh," "Irgendeinisch," and "UFO," Plüsch also performed at major festivals such as Gurtenfestival and Heitere Open Air. After touring in support of Eile mit Weile (2012), the band became inactive in 2013 before reuniting for a series of concerts in 2024.
