Chlyklass, a Swiss rap collective originating from Bern, was formed in 1998. The group initially consisted of members from two bands, PVP and Wurzel 5, who collaborated on the sampler Rapresent. After concerts at the Wasserwerk in Bern and in Liestal, the group adopted the name Chlyklass. The group gained traction through performances at notable venues such as the Gurten Festival and established their own label, Chlyklass Records. Chlyklass released several albums, including Ke Summer in 2005 and Rollin' 500 – Classicos in 2008. Their album Deitinge Nord, released in 2020, is named after an Autobahn rest stop and serves as a metaphorical gathering point for the band's musical influences and developments. The collective also hosts the annual Ultimate MC Battle at the Bierhübeli in Bern under their label's patronage. Notable members include Christoph Flury, Baze, Serej, Diens, and Baze.
