Mark Dyer, also known as Warrior King, was born on July 27, 1979, in Kingston, Jamaica, and is a reggae singer known for his uplifting messages about education and women. His musical journey began in high school, performing in talent shows. His breakthrough came with the international chart-topping single "Virtuous Woman" (2001), produced by Michael "Mikey John" Johnson for Lion Paw Productions. This song reached Number 1 on both Jamaican reggae charts and the New York Top 30 Reggae Singles chart in October 2001. He has been recognized by various entities, including the Jamaica Observer in 2001 and the United Negro Improvement Association Marcus Garvey Awards in 2010. His debut album, Virtuous Woman (2002), was released by VP Records, followed by Hold Da Faith (2005) and The Rootz Warrior (2016).
