Mohinder was a post-hardcore band from Cupertino, California. They quickly made an impact on the local hardcore punk scene with their intense and chaotic sound. They released the album, O Nation You Bleed From Many Wounds single in 1993, followed by two more EPs, Mohinder (1994) and Transient Sequences (1999). Despite disbanding in 1994 after releasing only three 7-inch EPs, Mohinder's influence on the screamo genre was significant. Their music is characterized by short, intense tracks that helped define the post-hardcore movement. In 2001, their discography was compiled onto a single CD titled Everything by Gold Standard Laboratories. Members of Mohinder went on to form other notable bands such as Duster and Helvetia.
