Another Animal, an American rock supergroup, was formed in 2006. The group consisted of Whitfield Crane on lead vocals, Tony Rombola and Lee Richards on guitars, Robbie Merrill on bass guitar, and Shannon Larkin on drums. Another Animal emerged from the remnants of Godsmack's IV album sessions when Sully Erna encountered writer’s block. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2007, which included the single "Broken Again" that reached number 8 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. To support this release, Another Animal opened for Alter Bridge on tour later that year.
