A Northern Chorus was a Canadian folk and post-rock band from Hamilton, Ontario, formed in 1999 by singers/guitarists Stu Livingstone and Pete Hall. Their debut album, Before We All Go To Pieces, was released in 2001 on Black Mountain Music and later re-released by Sonic Unyon. The band underwent several lineup changes over the years and released three more albums: Spirit Flags (2003), Bitter Hands Resign (2005), and The Millions Too Many (2007). They toured extensively across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom between 2001 and 2008. In May 2008, A Northern Chorus announced its disbandment, playing two final shows in June of that year.
