Cecilie Lima Knutsen, known professionally by the stage name Cecilia, is a Norwegian classical crossover singer born in Harstad, Norway, on 9 May 1967. She was educated at the Conservatory of Music in Oslo, where she received high marks, and spent six years studying at music conservatories in Oslo, Denmark, and Germany. She embarked on tours worldwide and released seven albums during her career, including two through Universal Music Group. She achieved notable recognition for her performance of the traditional hymn “Amazing Grace”. Her discography consists of the studio albums Voice of the Feminine Spirit (1994), Voice of Violet 19 (1996), Inner Harmony (1999), Let There Be Peace On Earth (2001), Best of Cecilia (2003), The Healing Voice (2006), and Amazing Grace (2007).
