Fabrice Millischer, born 15 January 1985 in Toulouse, France, is a trombonist and cellist who began his musical education at the Toulouse Conservatory, winning first prizes in cello and trombone. After studies at the CNSMD of Paris and Lyon, he emerged on the scene, performing with Jordi Savall and at festivals in Washington, Beijing, Munich, Basel, Paris, and Tokyo. His album, Pérégrinations, was released in 2010, followed by Trombone All Styles in 2012. Millischer received the 1 st Prix de l'ARD in Munich (2007), the 2011 Victoire de la musique classique for Instrumental Soloist Revelation of the Year, and the 2014 EchoKlassik Preis for his CD French Trombone Concertos.
