Ghetto Phénomène is a French rap group from Marseille, formed in the early 2010s by Friz, Veazy and Bil-K, with Houari and Jul among its earlier members; the group has been active since 2006, when the five childhood friends first began performing together. They first drew attention with early tracks like "Je voulais" and "Maria Maria" in 2016, before releasing their studio album La Vida Loca in 2017. The same year brought the follow-up studio album En catimini and the single "Tout maintenant (Tenenew)", which helped build their regional following. In 2019, Ghetto Phénomène released the album Money Time, supported by singles such as "Puta Madre" and "Fratello", while 2020 saw the release of C'est plus comme avant, further cementing their place in the French rap scene. In 2023, the group released the album Longue vie, and continued putting out collaborative singles through 2024 and 2025, including "Dans le 13", "Sous CR" and "En bas"alongside other artists. Their steady output and collaborations with regional artists have helped establish Ghetto Phénomène as a lasting presence in Marseille's rap scene.
