Astrid Swan

Astrid Swan, born Astrid Joutseno in 1982 in Helsinki, Finland, is a Finnish musician and singer. Swan began her music career with the release of the debut album Poverina (2005), which included the singles "Poverina" and "Good Girl". In April 2007, she performed an acoustic cover of The Killers' "When You Were Young" on KCMP "The Current". Her second album, Spartan Picnic (2008), was released by Johanna Kustannus and entered the Finnish National top 20 album charts. In 2009, Swan released the electronic pop album Better Than Wages. Later notable releases include the Teosto Prize-winning album From the Bed and Beyond (2017) and D/Other (2021).
