Kaballà, the stage name of Giuseppe Rinaldi (born 7 July 1953 in Caltagirone, Italy), is an Italian musician, singer-songwriter, and composer. Based in Milan, he began his recording career with Petra lavica (1991), an album blending popular music, rock, and world music influences, which earned him a Tenco Prize finalist nomination. His later albums, including Le vie dei canti (1993) and Lettere dal fondo del mare (1996), reflected his exploration of Sicilian language, Italian songwriting traditions, and electro-acoustic rock. Kaballà has also composed film and theatre music and collaborated extensively as a songwriter with artists such as Mario Venuti, Eros Ramazzotti, Antonella Ruggiero, and Nina Zilli. His songwriting work has featured at the Sanremo Festival, earning several Critics' Awards. In 2021, he received the LericiPea Golfo dei Poeti Award for dialect poetry.
