Linda Feller

Uta Weitzel, known professionally as Linda Feller, was born on September 23, 1966, in Ohrdruf, Germany. She began her career after being discovered by Hartmut Schulze-Gerlach in 1985 during his television show Sprungbrett. In 1990, she released her debut album Linda Feller, marking the start of a prolific career in German country and pop music. Throughout the 1990s, Feller released numerous albums including Ich Weiß Genau Was Ich Will (1992) and Jetzt Lieb' Ich Dich Erst Recht (1993). In 1998, she performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, becoming the first German artist to do so. Feller has been awarded the Singer of the Year award by the German American Country Music Federation seven times, with her first win in 1992.
