Diggo, born Rodrigo de Jesus Martins in Salvador, Bahia, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter whose path began early: he wrote “Libera Geral” at 15, a song that was picked up by a local band, and then spent the following years moving between songwriting and vocal work in samba groups. His first major break came in 2019, when Parangolé took “Abaixa Que É Tiro” to Salvador Carnival; his songwriting credits also link him to songs recorded that year by Léo Santana, Tony Salles, Tayrone, and Thaeme & Thiago, including Léo Santana’s live hit “Contatinho” with Anitta. That same year he launched his own recording career with the single “Sou Eu.” In 2021, he released the EP Sem Filtro, then continued building his solo catalog through singles such as “Me Desbloqueia Vida” in 2022 and “Gato Preto” in 2023. A bigger shift came in 2025 with “Hipnotiza,” recorded with Léo Santana, alongside “Joga a Bunda” with Salamanka, “Desejo Egotismo,” and the EP DOUM. He stayed active in 2026 with Na Praia and songs including “Cerveja e Batucada,” “Dona do Pagode,” “Se Eu Te Perdoar/Namorando Ou Não,” “Fuma e Faz Amor,” and “Saudade Não Mente.”
