Anne-Karine Strøm, born on October 15, 1951, is a Norwegian singer who gained prominence through her participation in the Melodi Grand Prix between 1971 and 1976. She won three times: twice as a soloist and once as part of the Bendik Singers, which led to her representing Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1973, 1974, and 1976. Her most notable performances include "It's Just A Game" (1973) and "The First Day of Love" (1974). Strøm's final Eurovision appearance with "Mata Hari" in 1976 ending in last place. Post-Eurovision, she released several albums, including Casablancas Døtre (1982) and Landet utenfor (1986).
