Art In America is an American progressive rock ensemble formed in 1980 in Detroit. The group consisted of Chris Flynn, Daniel Flynn, Shishonee Flynn, Jim Kuha, and Garry Galloway. The band featured a pedal harp and opened for performers including U2 and Roxy Music. Produced by Eddy Offord, the debut studio recording Art in America appeared in 1983 and reached number 176 on the Billboard 200. The track “Art in America” reached number 23 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The ensemble relocated to Los Angeles in 1985. Its discography included the studio recordings The Hentschel Sessions (2013) and Cloudborn (2018). In 2025, the group released the studio album Rise and an expanded edition of its debut recording.
