Léon The Singer is a Berlin-based artist fusing synthpop, disco, and theatrical flair into what he calls Glam-Pop - a genre rooted in ’70s glam rock and Y2K dance pop. A trained dancer and choreographer, he studied at Folkwang Universität der Künste and brings that same sense of movement and drama to his music. His sound draws from the bold stylings of Lady Gaga, the storytelling of Lou Reed, and the provocative edge of Bowie. On stage, Léon becomes a larger-than-life figure: confident, charismatic, and unafraid to show vulnerability beneath the glitter. It’s this emotional duality that defines his songwriting. His upcoming album ANDRO GENES is the birth of a new persona, a vampiric alter ego who leads The House of Andro Genes, a queer performance collective uniting fashion, dance, and music. With each release, Léon invites listeners not just to hear his music, but to experience it as a full-bodied, theatrical world.
