Flotation Toy Warning, an indie rock band from London, UK, formed in 2001. The group initially released two EPs, I Remember Trees E.P. and The Special Tape, on Pointy Records in 2002. Their debut album, Bluffer's Guide to the Flight Deck, was released in 2004 on Pointy Records, with subsequent releases on Misra Records and Talitres Records. Notable songs from this period include "Popstar Researching Oblivion" and "Happy 13", used by Channel 5 to advertise CSI and The Mentalist. Flotation Toy Warning toured extensively in Europe, including shows in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Austria. In November 2016, they celebrated 15 years of Talitres Records with two shows in France. Their second album, The Machine That Made Us, was released in 2017.
