Grave Desecrator is a Brazilian death metal group formed in 1998. Founded by Élson Bueno and F. Mordor, the group released the demo 01 (2001) and the EP Cult of Warfare and Darkness (2003). Their debut album, Sign of Doom (2008), was followed by Insult (2010). After Mordor left the group, Rafael Guimarães took over vocals while Bueno switched to bass and Renato Varjolo joined as a second guitarist. Grave Desecrator toured Europe and released the compilation Deathspells Rising (2011). Subsequent recordings include the albums Dust to Lust (2016) and Immundissime Spiritus (2023).
