Z.E.P.

Z.E.P, also known as Zone d'expression populaire, is a French hip-hop group originating from Roubaix in the Lille metropolitan area. The group's members include Saïdou (Saïd Zouggagh), Salim Sferdjella, Kamel Flouka, and Saknes. Formed to address social issues, Z.E.P gained attention with their debut album Devoir d'insolence, released in 2009. Their controversial song "Nique la France" sparked significant debate in 2012, leading to legal proceedings and concert cancellations due to its lyrics criticizing French society. Despite the controversy, Z.E.P continued their musical journey with releases such as Le Bal De La Zone EP in 2012.
