No Bragging Rights, an American melodic hardcore band from Riverside, California, was founded in 1999 by singer Mike Perez. The group released several demos early on, including Never Again (2001) and Waking Angel (2004). In 2006, they released their debut album, Because You Believe in Something Beyond Them, followed by the EP The Anatomy of a Martyr (2007), which gained national success. No Bragging Rights released their second album, The Consequence of Dreams, through Pure Noise Records in 2009. The band toured extensively with acts such as Bring Me the Horizon and Asking Alexandria. Their third album, Illuminator (2011), featured the singles "Passion vs. Fashion" and "Unafraid to Burn" and in 2014, No Bragging Rights released their fifth studio album, The Concrete Flower, which reached number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. The band announced an indefinite hiatus in 2015 following a car accident but returned in 2021 with the album No Bragging Rights.
