Link 80 was an American punk rock and ska punk band from the East Bay of California. Formed in 1993, the group originally consisted of guitarist Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, drummer Joey Bustos, bassist Adam Pereira and singer Jeff Acree. The ensemble's name was derived from the I-80 highway used to travel to rehearsals. In 1995, Nick Traina joined as the lead vocalist, and the band released its debut studio album, 17 Reasons, in 1997. Following Traina's death in September 1997, Ryan Noble became the lead vocalist, and the group issued the album The Struggle Continues in 2000. The ensemble disbanded in 2002 but reunited in 2016 for a tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of the label Asian Man Records.
