Kejnu is an indie rock ensemble formed in 2005 in Zurich. The group was founded by singer and multi-instrumentalist Manuel Schoch, born on December 27, 1982, in Männedorf. Schoch began his career by producing demotapes with a Tascam 4-track recorder. The band released its debut studio album, Induelo, in 2006. Alessandro Giannelli joined as a percussionist in 2006. In 2010, the ensemble released the studio recording I Have No Arms and No Legs, which featured the single “Dead and Dormant”. Members Ramon Ziegler and James Varghese later joined the lineup. The group released the double album Centillion through Radicalis Records in 2014. Between 2020 and 2021, the ensemble released several recordings on Mouthwatering Records, including the singles “Waterhole” and “Apeland”. Schoch produced the band's visual art and multimedia content.
